ELIMINATE Feat. Ex-DARK ANGEL, HIRAX, WHIPLASH Members: West Coast Dates Announced

ELIMINATE, the new band featuring former DARK ANGEL singer Don Doty, will embark on a short West Coast tour in August. Bay Area thrashers HATCHET will provide support on all dates.

ELIMINATE is comprised of Doty, guitarists Scott Owen (HIRAX, SUBVERSION) and Henry Elizondo (DEVASTATION),bassist John Signorelli (SUBVERSION) and drummer Joe Cangelosi (WHIPLASH, KREATOR, MASSACRE). The group will perform material from the first two DARK ANGEL albums, "We Have Arrived" and "Darkness Descends", along with some surprises and new originals.

The dates are as follows:

Aug. 15 - The Regent - Los Angeles, CA
Aug. 16 - Brick By Brick - San Diego, CA
Aug. 17 - TheDive Bar- Las Vegas, NV
Aug. 18 - The Slidebar Rock N Roll Kitchen - Fullerton, CA
Aug. 19 - Thee Parkside - San Francisco, CA

Upon completion of these shows, ELIMINATE will enter the studio to record a demo of original material that will be shopped to labels.

ELIMINATE made its live debut last November at Grindcore 2015 at Ukranian Cultural Center in Los Angeles, California. Fan-filmed video footage of the performance can be seen below.

ELIMINATE last year parted ways with drummer Sasha Horn and replaced him with Cangelosi.

Doty is not involved in DARK ANGEL's current reunion, which includes Gene Hoglan (drums),Eric Meyer (guitar),Jim Durkin (guitar),Ron Rinehart (vocals) and Michael Gonzalez (bass).

DARK ANGEL released two albums with Doty on vocals — 1984's "We Have Arrived" and 1986's "Darkness Descends" — before he exited the group and was replaced by Ron Rinehart (after a brief stint with Jim Drabos in 1987).
